My Background
I completed my high school education at Emerald Valley Public School, specializing in the Biology-Maths stream. This foundation piqued my interest in both the life sciences and analytical problem-solving, ultimately guiding me toward a career in biotechnology.
Building on this passion, I pursued a B.Tech in Biotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where I delved deep into molecular biology, genetic engineering, and bioinformatics. My exposure to both the scientific and technical aspects of biotechnology sparked my curiosity and provided me with practical skills in research and development.
However, I wanted to expand my understanding of the global biotech industry and experience new opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. This passion led me to pursue higher education in the US.
I am currently a first-year graduate student in the Master in Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) program, a professional master's degree, at North Carolina State University. This program is uniquely designed to equip students with both advanced scientific knowledge and professional skills tailored to meet the demands of the biotechnology industry. Unlike traditional academic programs, the MMB is focused on preparing students to address real-world challenges in biotechnology.
